Nightmyst News 26/01/2012
Remy @ 2 years old Last year ended on a bittersweet note. We bid a sad farewell to our little talker Remy, who was put to sleep after a long battle with liver disease. When she couldn't walk on her own and had to be carried we knew it was time. She is now at home on the wall unit with Indy & Mira. We miss her terribly, especially Raz who is now an only child. It has been an extremely difficult transition for him as he has gone from a pack of 5 dogs to being on his own. On a happier note we welcomed into the world a wonderful litter of 3 from Zoe & Fender. They were affectionately known as "the three amigos", Ned (now Murphy), Jon snow (now Fletcher) & Sansa ( Chloe?) who is with us til Saturday.

19/09/2011 Wow! what a fantastic day of showing we had at Bulla on saturday 17/9/2011. It was Leila's first show since February so we didn't know how she would behave but she had her own personal cheering squad of Ryan & Amanda on hand. We didn't even take a crate for her so we weren't expecting to stay. Our girl was absolutely fantastic she not only won the bitch challenge she won BOB, what a star!!! And not to be left out Tuck won dog challenge and RUBOB, the Mira & Fender kids were on fire. It turned out to be a great day for Nightmyst and the "Salvesen/Brockley/Glover clans". Pictures to follow. 14/08/2011
Leila "Nightmyst Belle Fleur" Here are some photos taken of Leila @20mths, she has finally grown some coat and looks fantastic, thanks to Ryan & Amanda for all their hard work.
8/08/2011 Zoe "Zollikon Night Amaya" Here are some photos taken of Raz's sister Zoe she just happens to live next door to us. I'm hoping to have a litter from Zoe this year.

Remy Raz & Remy after a bath 14/12/10 Happy Birthday to the Mira-Fender litter born 1 year ago today!!!!!!!!!. Hope you get lots of presents and yummy cake. Leila's present is a trip to the vets to get her hips and elbows xrayed. Poor Leila-Lu can't even have a good day for her birthday. 11/12/10 The dynamic duo of Sunny & Gus came to stay at chateau Salvesen while Ben & Bec were in New York for a holiday. They were absolutely wonderful and fitted into the household like they had lived here forever. It worked out so well they are coming back for Xmas.
Sunny Gus, Raz & Remy 2/06/2010 The lawnmower man came today to mow my lawns so Raz, Mira & Remy came inside to watch. I decided to take Leila for a walk and when I came home an unnamed dog (RAZ) had made himself right at home. He got himself a book to read, a jumper because he was cold, some socks for his tootsies and the piece da resistance, he decided he needed to brush his teeth while relaxing on the lounge. And the look I got was "it wasn't me". The joys of owning a boy, you have got to love them.
19/05/2010 Here are some photos taken this week of Raz & Leila visiting my son's place. Leila has that glint in her eye and apparently wouldn't leave Raz alone. She finally went to sleep with Raz's paw on her head to keep her down, she didn't even wake up. He just heaved a huge sigh of relief; "little sisters are such pains"

06/04/2010 Here are some photos taken at Tuck's 2nd show 03/04/2010 (the first show doesn't need to be mentioned). He behaved like a perfect little angel for Ash and didn't put a paw wrong. He is just so laid back and cruisey.
Tuck @ 16 weeks
24/03/2010 Sunny has gone to stay with Lindsay in SA for show training and lots of love. When she comes back for our Specialty I have no doubt she will be ubertrained. A big thankyou must go to Lindsay, I really appreciate it. Below are some pics taken last weekend, Sunny looks right at home.
Sunny says "I'm the baby not you"
Relaxing @ Lindsay's (she looks just like big brother Raz)
Also huge thanks have to go to Adrian & Ash who have taken Tuck for a holiday. I haven't got any photos of him enjoying himself yet. Hint, hint. The only lonely I've got in the backyard now is Leila but Ryan & Amanda come and get her most days for love and playtime.
Bebe has gone to live permantly with Angela, Ray, kids & Zukai. She absolutely loves it there and being the princess she is, I'm sure she gives Zukai a hard time.
31/01/2010 All the puppies have found forever homes and they will be leaving 8th Feb. 19/01/2010 Happy Birthday to Raz, today is his 2nd birthday and as I watch him dig holes, rip up anything he can find in the backyard, totally destroy my house in the 5 seconds he is left inside; it's a wonder he has made it this far. But we love him to bits and wouldn't change him for the world. Here are some photos of the puppies taken at 5 weeks by my son.

On Thursday 29/10/2009 Remy had 12 puppies!!!!!! 7 boys and 5 girls. Everyone is fine and doing well. Remy is up at Nik Lennon's in the Zanzebern maternity ward. I went to Wagga to visit my baby and her babies and Remy is an extremely cruisey and good Mum. I took a couple of pics and as you can see they all look like guinea pigs.
21/09/2009 Happy 1st Birthday to Bebe, Matilda, Lula, Kira, Charlie, Zachary, Bomber-Bear, Gus, Monty and Murphy. I hope everyone got a cake and presents.

On Sunday Raz and I caught up with Gus (Nightmyst Threetgetdedly) and his owners Ben & Bec at the Studley Park boathouse. What a beautiful boy he is and because we had the 2 boys there, we had lots of comments on the usual "what sort of dogs are they" as well as lots of pats. Ben kindly sent me some photos of the day and also of Gus at the beach. Raz and I had just come from obedience training where Raz showed off how HE does a drop stay. The first part is done normally where he dropped, but as soon as I moved away he flipped himself onto his back and laid there with his feet in the air. Oh if only I had a camera at the time.

Are you talking to me Ben?
29/03/2009 On Thursday night, Nightmyst High Five (aka Zachary) was tested by Dogs Victoria to see if he was ready to become a therapy dog. He passed!!!!!!! He is now certified as a therapy dog. This is a huge achievement as Zachary is only 6 months old. I think he might be one of the youngest therapy dogs in the program. A special mention and congratulations must go to his owner Amanda, who has trained and absolutely treasured this wonderful boy, he is her heart dog. I couldn't have asked for a better home for one of my precious babies.
My own special little girl Bebe, has done very well in the ring. At her last show as a baby puppy, she won Baby Puppy in Group and was picked out for Baby Puppy in Show, but at the time was too busy trying to play with the poor little white dog behind her.

28/12/2008 Yesterday in Bebe's first show and with some stiff competition, she was awarded Baby Puppy of Breed. In the competition there were 2 boys and 3 girls. Bebe was an absolute dream and behaved very well for her first show, I am so proud of her. (Hopefully I'll have some up-dated photos of her soon.)
14/12/2008 Life has been rather hectic in the Salvesen household of late.(That would be trying to fit in Xmas shopping, Xmas parties getting cars serviced etc, etc, etc.) I've been taking Bebe to puppy preschool to socialise with puppies her own size. (not quite as big as Bebe and she likes to chase them around) She has had a play date with Kira and has been getting out and about. Below are some wonderful photos of the puppies, it's amazing how much they have grown.
